Drawing to a Close

They’ll head back to their clinics making wellness a priority, use more efficient means to run their practices, and implement a variety of new program that will help change lives, but before they jumped on their planes there was still a one more bit of business to take care of.
The winner of the first annual SuperCamp 2012 T-shirt winner was announced to a room of about 500 HealthSource family members: HeathSource of Aiken, who created t-shirt with a QR Code that, when scanned with a smart phone, takes prospective patients to a landing web page that advertises a 19-point screening and allows them to register for an appointment right from their phones.
Their clinic will receive a brand new 42-inch Panasonic TV for use in their office.
Another big winner was HealthSource of West Des Moines who took home a new iPad 3 for their entry in the first annual Crush It! Contest. The rules of the contest were simple: clinics submitted an explanation of a great idea they implemented in their office over the last year. More than 30 entries were submitted and those were whittled down to 10, which were then voted on by the audience Sunday by a text vote.
With more than 17% of the vote, HS of West Des Moines’ took home the prize for finding a creative way to motivate patients by asking them to submit photos representing their key value (for example, if someone wanted to get back to horseback riding they would submit a picture of them on a horse) and those photos were then pasted to the front of their patient files so it could be referenced by them, the doctors, and the team members.

Following those ceremonies and a few closing speeches, SuperCamp 2012 ended with an enormous huddle, further inspiring everyone to get back to improving the lives of their patients more effectively than they ever had before.
